To assess medication and other treatment effects in people with developmental disabilities, including individuals with intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, and cerebral palsy. The ABC is also used for a variety of other purposes, including sample characterization, to monitor the effects of environmental changes, studying behavioral phenotypes, effects of sleep profiles, and myriad of other purposes (see revised ABC Manual, 2017)
